Melanie Cook graduates from Eastern Oregon University

Melanie Cook, of Coos Bay, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Eastern Oregon University during the 2010-11 academic year. Cook earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies.

EOU awarded 540 undergraduate degrees and 87 master's degrees in 2010-11. Students graduating with honors earned a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above and an EOU GPA of the following:

• Summa Cum Laude = GPA of 3.85 - 4.0
• Magna Cum Laude = GPA of 3.70-3.84
• Cum Laude = GPA of 3.50-3.69
